Texture stops rendering after a few seconds and goes yellow

Hi there,

I'm new to Cinema 4D to say the least, I'm talking days, but I've come across a problem I can't seem to figure out or find out about. Below are two images, the first is of the render in the Cinema 4D window and the second is a still of the same frame from an mp4 render I put through Media Encoder. The textures of those blocks are videos that I attached to a material via adding a new image in its properties. The render starts off fine for about 5 seconds, then all of the videos switch to that weird yellow colour and remain the same until the end. Does anyone have any ideas why this is happening? Thanks!

Nick

Correct answer Mylenium

You need to set the texture cycles/ duration in the texture properties. C4D doesn't automatically assume an infinite duration.

Could you please tell me how I do this? I've googled what you've mentioned, I've watched a tutorial about setting the length of the videos from 0 to whatever the last frame is and it still doesn't work. I can't find texture cycles / duration anywhere as an option, where would I find them?

Thanks Mylenium.

Check the "Animation" tab in the shader's texture attributes.
