Time Line to Seconds?

I am a beginner in AE and primarly focused on learning text motion animations. However for my editing I need the Time Line to be in seconds instead of frames and shows (e.g. 2:00f). I have watched countless of videos and read articles but I have no idea how to change it. I have AE 2025.

Thank You! It was actually user error on my end. Under composition setting I entered 20 in the frames and not the seconds. I will keep reply in my back pocket

Hey there,

One way you can do this is by holding ctrl (or i'm assuming option on mac) and then left clicking the timecode within the timeline panel. 

Hopefully that gets you the result you're looking for!
