I am trying to track graphics into stereoscopic 360 footage. Can this be done? As far as I can tell the VR comp editor only works with monoscopic footage, which is a real drag for all of us working in 3D 360. Does anyone have a workaround?

Hello Scott!
I´m confronted with the same problem like you and hope for better solutions by Adobe then I will show you now.
I´ve found this help-text posted by Adobe in case of stereoscopic 3D in After Effects:
https://helpx.adobe.com/at/after-effects/kb/stereoscopic-3d-effects.html
Go to the paragraph:
Composite digital 3D elemenst with stereo recording footage from real cameras
You see, you have a lot of manual work to do.
During my research I found the following program called "SynthEyes":
https://www.ssontech.com/index.html
The following tutorials show how the program works:
https://www.youtube.com/@SynthEyesHQ/search?query=stereo%20tracking
The issue why it´s not so easy to make "360 VR Stereoscopic - Motion Tracking" is explained in the following text:
https://www.ssontech.com/stereovr.html
"SynthEyes" belongs to "Boris FX" now, but I haven´t found the program there yet.
https://blog.borisfx.com/3d-camera-solving-syntheyes
I will wait until "Boris FX" provide "SynthEyes" on there homepage,
because I think, they will give the program the necessary layout.
Wish you the best!
