Transform 'distort' no longer in use?

Hello, I have inherited a project that illustrates magnified effects. A cartoon iPad that scans across the hills.

Can you confirm - is the transform 'effect' is still available? I guess there is 'magnify' but it is a different effect. Or is there anything similar that will work on an adjustment layer? Not to be confused with normal transform tools. Many thanks Julian

That's not ideal. Try this!

Go to Effects > Manage Effects and disable Only Show Third-Party Effects. Now, search for Transform Effect in the search bar and see if it's available. If it is, make sure it's checked.

Transform is in the Effects/Distort list. You can search for it in the Effects & Presets folder or just use the Effects/Distort menu.

Hi Rick. Thanks for the reply. It does look like it is missing. I normally don't have an issue with standard effects. What is going on here, do you think?

The effect is actually missing. It is okay I just used magnify and it worked well enough. It is unusual for effects to totally disappear.

Cheers for that, it was unchecked. How the hell can that happen on its own? haha.

Thanks
