Transparent background in a precomp turns black

Hi Community!

I'm having an issue with a motion graphics project: I want to maintain all precomps in the project with a transparent background as I want to animate the background in the main composition for transitions, but this specific one is not working. When I go back to the parent composition, the background turns black.

I've tried everything that came to my mind but it doesn't seem to work. As you can see I'm working with shape layers and files from Illustrator, it's a very simple project. I'm trying to figure out if it can be related with Duik 2D Camera, but I don't think this is the problem.

I'll appreciate any advice that can bring clarity.

Thanks!!

The most likely cause is your inconsistent use of the collapse transformations options that may affect render order. To debug the situation you would need to turn it off in the parent comp. Similarly, specific effects applied to the layers could have different results under those conditions. I would bet it is something that trivial. Otherwise your screenshots don't reveal much that would offer clues, unfortunately. Perhaps the flow chart will also reveal some dependency across layers and comps that affects this.
