Trim path from ai file outlined closed path logo

I'm trying to do a simple reveal effect with butt cap effect on a logo.

This logo has been sent to me in eps so all paths are without stroke. If i try to use trim path in ae (creating shapes from vector layer), it doesn't work fine because the fill of trim path is applied inside the logo, how can i solve?

Using stroke effect (in reveal image mode) give me the result but unfortunately the brush of stroke is a rounded cup, i would like do it with butt cup.

Thanks

(the attached logo is an example like the original logo)

You could open the file in Il and modify it into separate layers.  You could also use the paint effect to reveal it.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nkUKms3uqpk

I'm not clear what you are asking. The cap type for shape layers can be set as can the mitering angle. Likewise, you can remove any fills at any point or add new ones. Same as your other post: Please read the help how this stuff works!

Hi Mylenium, and thanks for your support. Link of a screen capture. The first animation is what i want, but the reaveal path has a rounded cap, and i want a butt cap. The second animation is what happen if i use trim path. Thanks again

What is the problem exactly.  Is it that you want to fill in the space between the paths?  Or that you want both paths to animate at the same time in the same direction?

I want to fill the space between the paths, as i already did with stroke effect but with the butt cap effect, not rounded
