Trouble using After Effects Graphics in Final Cut Pro X

Hey, I'm actually a PC user and Adobe Premiere Pro Editor, but I'm trying to create graphics for a friend who uses Final Cut Pro in my compositor of choice, Adobe After Effects. I've tried using the same process I use for when I export graphics for use in DaVinci Resolve (After Effects Encode Queue >> Format: QuickTime >> Color: RGB + Alpha >> Render), but for some reason when my friend attempts to import the file, Final Cut simply won't let him. I tried exporting using a different format after following a YouTube tutorial, which Final Cut did let us import, but then it took away the transparent background and was just black. Not very helpful. We've tried to see if it was an issue with how I'm transferring files (via Microsoft OneDrive) but we've run a bunch of tests, and that definitely isn't the issue. Any advice?

If you are exporting Quicktime files and want to keep your alpha channel, the only way to do it for use itin FCPX is to create a Quicktime ProRes 4444 file, any other codec will remove the alpha channel. Also, once imported into FCPX you need to change the interpretation of the alpha channel in the inspector (Settings).

As noted by Mylenium, you can create an image sequence but FCPX cannot import image sequences directly, you need to use Compressor or Adobe Media Encoder to create a Quicktime file in the ProRes 4444 flavour.

Interested. Could you possibly send me screenshots or a short clip of how to change the interpretation?

My screenshot is in Spanish but I think you can find for the same parameters in your version. Check the attached screenshot.

Render an image sequence as PNG or TIFF. QT at this point can be considered completely broken, so no point hanging on to it.
