Unable to execute script at line 2; expected

I am trying to run a kml script in After effects and constantly getting this error: 

Unable to execute script at line 2. Expected: ;

How can I solve this?

Without seeing the script it is going to be pretty difficult to guess what is happening in line 2 that is causing the error.

The format for scripts is JSX, not KML, so maybe that's your issue. Did you write the script or did you buy / download it from an author?

I downloaded the script from Imagiscope tech and is working fine, my AE just needed restarting 😉

Same here! My 2025.0.1 After Effects was working great, but suddenly showed this error every time I launched the After Effects. Rubberhose 3 and Void are the main scripts that I use.
