Unsaved project quit unexpectedly... how can I recover?

I was an idiot and didn't save my project yet... then it quit unexpectedly and now I have no way to reopen it. Is there ANY way to get it back??

    No. it will be a good idea for a feature request to auto-save project files that were not saved in a temp folder. you can ask for it here:

    nope... it's a good idea to always save all your documents with a temp name at least when you first start.  Autosave by default is going to need a directory path to kick in, even when triggered by time.

      When you say "unsaved" project, do you mean that you started working in a new project and never saved or that you saved at least once but had not saved recently?
