Hi, so I have this problem for a very long time and it bugs me. So when I import footage (no matter which one I tried with many different formats) it looks very buggy and pixelated. It's only the case when I import it in after effects, so when I watch it in windows video player everything is normal.

Things I tried: reinstalling my programm, reinstalling windows, clearing cache and restart, set the playback quality to 1/3 etc., reinstalling nvidia driver, use studio driver
comp settings: 1080p, 30fps Specs: nvidia rtx 2070 SUPER, amd ryzen 3600x

That's a corrupted MP4 file. It could be a variable frame rate or just a bug in compression. Try loading the footage in Media Encoder and rendering a MOV file using ProRez to generate a production master.
