Video Plays and Renders way too fast even after Frame rate edits...

Hello everyone,

I had a questions in regards to Frame rate. So if my project in maya is set to 30 frames but when it was time to Batch render my Tiff Sequence I ended up rendering every other frame to save time. But I noticed that when I imported the Tiff Sequence to AE the video was super speed up. So does that mean that my frame rate is now 15 frames? And has a test to this I ended up changing all my compositions to 15 frame rate to see if the render videos would play at the true animated speed I did not work. I ended up witht he same results a speed up rendered video. I can sure use a hand here. Thank you in advance.

Oh also second question. If i change all the compositions frame rate on every composition will it destroy all my keyframes? Thanks once again!

EDIT: Yes all the keys were destroyed.

It seems like its working now after I changed frame rate on compositions saved and restarted AE. Now I have to re-key the whole scene since changing frame rate destroyed all the work done. Does anyone have any pointers? I am doing this the right way? I ask because I dont use AE there has to be a better pipeline where you can change frame rate without losing all the work this shi** is nuts.
