Hi, i have a Problem since i've changed my System from Mac (late 2013, i5, 8 GB RAM) to PC (Ryzen 1600, 16 GB RAM, Geforce GTX 1050). I can't use warp stabilizer anymore. There is an error called "unable to acquire rendered Frame" when VFX starts analyzing the first Frame. I never had this Situation on my mac and the Projects i am now trying to edit are the same I used to edit on my mac. I tried to reinstall Ae, checked framerates, tried different Settings in VFX and deactivated Mercury GPU Acceleration. But i still doesn't work and I really Need help.

I am trying to stabilize a JPEG sequence, 6000x4000, 25 fps.

Is there anyone who had the same error when using VFX in Ae?

Thanks in Advance,

Melanie

I converted the image sequence to TIFF format and randomly changed the location from which I Access in After Effects. In fact, it now works with the TIFF format. I then tested it directly with the JPEG format from the other hard disk and it also works. Now I'm confused…

Why does the Warp stabilizer not work when I import the sequence from my SSD Evo 860, but when I import the sequence from my HDD?

Anyway, I am happy that it finally works again. Thanks for the tip!

Start by converting the image sequence to a different format like TGA or TIFF and see if that works.
