We need Rosetta or plugin support for existing plugins

As you may be aware, Apple provided Rosetta to help bridge moving from Intel-based Mac to Apple Silicon based Macs.  For After Effects 2021, 2022, and 2023 it worked really well.

How this hardware change affects After Effects has been documented here since Apple first introduced the M1 and was last updated Oct 11, 2023:
After Effects User Guide > Getting started > After Effects for Apple Silicon.

And yes, as great as Apple Silicon is for running After Effects, losing access to third-party plugins that you already have is not ideal as it can sometimes mean an upgrade purchase or switching to a subscription model.

Do you happen to have After Effects 23.x installed on your Apple Silicon based Mac?  That can still run using Rosetta.  

Hopefully, the publisher of the Intel-based plugins that you use has released Apple Silicon based versions.  For awhile there, I was a little nervous that Video Copilot and Frischluft were not going to release any updates.

If there's a particular plugin that you're not finding an Apple Silicon update for, list it in this thread and other users may reply with that they're using as an alternative - if there is one.

Rosetta as in the Apple app that translates older software so more modern processors can run it?

That isn't made by Adobe that is made by Apple.
