Weird distortion on bevelled shape

Hi everyone! I’m new here and have a nagging issue I can seem to fix. I have a rectangle under some turbulent displacement, simple choke, fast blur & wave warps. I took fill opacity to 0% and a strong bevel at 1px height. So the shape moves and I was hoping for the bevel to move smoothly with it.

Are there any work-arounds to make movement smooth?

    Btw- it was a 2560x1440 composition @59.x fps if that helps..

    I think you just have the settings cranked up too far. Turbulent displace wraps pixels around and if lines are thin you risk losing parts of the lines. It might be better to get the look you want without the bevel alpha, then pre-compose and apply the bevel there. You might be able to get away with just putting the bevel above or below your stack of effects. The matte choker isn't helping either. I think you may have just overcomplicated the creation of that random effect.

    It would help us figure out what you are doing if we had a screenshot of the layer with all modified properties revealed. Just press uu and PrintScreen and paste to the forum. It's also easier to see if you use the forum toolbar to insert a YouTube video. Just showing us the rendered problem does not tell us anything about how you got there.

    Hi, Rick! Thanks so much

    I hope these screenshots shed some light on my AE insanity. Any tips are welcomed. Ideally the bevel lines would retain a uniform thickness throughout with little distortion and minimal jitter. And move in a non-uniform pattern; something with mild variation. There is probably a simpler way to achieve this
