What does the square with a circle symbol mean in after effects?

Does anyone know what the SQUARE with a Circle means?  I need to get it on the QR code.png above this one.  Thanks much!

Hey Non-FungibleVet,

Seems like to have Track Matte enabled on the layer under the QR2.png layer. Please refer to the following link for more information: https://www.schoolofmotion.com/blog/how-to-use-track-mattes-after-effects. Can you let us know what exactly you are trying to do with Track Matte? We're here to help.
