What happened to File/Scripts/Open Script Panel???

I have not worked on writing a script for a couple of versions of After Effects. I'm on a Mac using AE 2024 and can't find the extended scripts editor anywhere. I checked the documentation and searched the forums, and I found nothing. I've reset preferences, uninstalled, and tried everything I can think of. The only post I found on the missing File/Scripts menu item was a post from Dan Ebberts about something in the upper left corner using a Windows machine. I would love to know where it went and how to find it on a Mac.

The Windows version (.exe) here still works, I'm not sure about the Mac version (.dmg):

The DMG in the link provided by Dan will not run on a new Mac.

I guess I'll have to look for some other solutions. Any suggestions for scripting tools?

I think this has something to do with discontinued ESTK on macOS due to ARM processors (M1-M3) incompatibility.
