When I preview it reloads the frames After Effects cc2019 already loaded

Hey,

I am having this issue for a while now: When I want to preview my composition en I cache the frames, the already cached frames reload endlessly.

It is very frustrating since I can't preview the composition.
Currently, I am using After Effects cc2019. (I don't know if there's more info needed)

I hope anyone knows how to fix this, I would really appreciate it!

Im not sure of the content of your project, but-

If your preview area contains more than AE can cache, it will dump some of the previously cached content, then reload when it loops back to it. This starts to happen as the project gets larger, tho im not sure this is whats happening to you

Hey ScooterD76,

thank you for your answer!

That might be the case, but it was a short sequence with small files (like 30 seconds). It seems a bit unlikely but perhaps..

Actually, that's fairly long for a comp.  And if you're working in something like 4K 60 fps, you eat up a whole boatload of memory when previewing.
