When pressing "Ctrl + Z" in AE, it doesn't work correctly

When pressing ctrl + z in after effets, it seems to be doing this below, i have reset all keyboard shortcuts yet it still happens

Sorry for your issue.

What's the exact version of After Effects you're using? Does it happen in all the projects? Try running After Effects in Safe mode and see if that makes any difference. This happens on all adjustment layers and solids, it will either make the adjustment layer a solid colour or make them like this
