Where can I download an after effects from ~2015 when they still cared

Yeah, I have a sub, way more ram than needed, and that little piece of junk can't ever work, been years, been many computers, never got it to work, it's to the point that I put an image on an empty timeline, and that junk complains he can't get his 20 gigs to display that image, I have 64 gigs of ram, and 12/16/24 gigs of vram (none of my computers can take after effects). So if anyone has a good way to find an older version of after effects, please, I BEG YOU, I need it

Officially, you cannot download versions prior to the current and one previous. 

 

If you are having that degree of usability problems, there is likely something about your hardware or software configuration(s) that's ultimately the cause. Do you have a bunch of third-party plug-ins/effects installed? Do you have other AV apps and hardware installed? Have you tried starting AE in Safe Mode to see if you get the same results?
