Why does my text have a black outline when I try to render it with transparent background?

Hi all,

The project im working on is text based, with a 'write on' animiation effect. The text is white on a black background. Trouble is, when I try to give the project a transparent background, I get a black outline around the white text, which I cannot seem to get rid of.

Would massively appreicate any help on this as I am stumped!

Check the Character Panel to make sure you have not created a stroke. If you have converted a shape layer to masks or a shape layer and you added Write On to the converted layer, the path will be on the outside of the text, so animating the stroke/trim Paths or using a path for the motion path for Write On will be fouled up.

Without a detailed workflow description or a screenshot showing the modified properties of your comp, it is pretty difficult to tell you exactly where your workflow problem is.
