why is after effects showing white screen in composition panel ? HELP !!

after effects is showing white screen in composition panel, I tried multiple solutions but nothing happened. I updated my GPU drivers (AMD  Radeon HD 7500/7600 series) and changed the rendering video usage to mercury software only and changed multiple things in previews preferences but nothing happened so PLEASE HELP ME.

Sorry to see you're experiencing this issue. A white screen showing in the Composition panel generally points to an issue with GPU drivers and/or hardware acceleration of the panels, so I have moved this report from the Bugs section to Discussions. Have you tried toggling on "Hardware Accelerate Composition, Layer, and Footage panels" in Preferences > Display?

 

Additionally, what are the full specs of your system (OS versions, CPU, RAM, etc)? This information is helpful for us on the forums to have a full picture of the environment where you are experiencing the problem.

 

You mentioned that you updated your GPU drivers; what version were you running previously and what version do you have now?
