Why won't the tracker analyze anything when I start it?

I'm trying to track something over my face but the motion tracker seems to have bit the dust. I'm fairly certain I have all of the settings correct. I tried transcoding the footage, since I read that certain codecs weren't supported, but despite trying Cineform and then uncompressed .MOV files, I'm still not having any luck. To clarify the actual issue: When I click the "analyze" buttons (one frame back/forward, track back/forward) they react and switch to the "stop" buttons, but no motion actually happens anywhere, and the track point doesn't move.

Any help on this would be appreciated. Thanks!

Your Search and Feature regions are not enclosing distinct pixels. If its the eyes or mouth or nose that you're tracking then the Feature Region has to be sized such that it encompasses only distinct pixels for the object you want to track. You'll also want to use the Forward/Backward track and not the frame-by-frame track as the latter come in handy only when the tracker gets lost.

How big is the feature region? How big is the search area. They look pretty huge and that would take a very very long time.

Search area is maybe 400x400px, and I left it alone for a while to make sure it wasn't just being slow. I don't think that's the problem.
