Hello all,

I am in desperite need for help.
I'm trying to reproduce the Orb tutorial of Andrew Kramer.
I'm using AE 2021
I,ve got decents specs
AMD 7 4800H
RTX2060
16 RAM

Comp: Full HD 1920*1080 24fps
Textures: 6K
Res: Full

I,ve got the Orb. but...
If i zoom by scrolling (magnify 200/400/800%) the mousewheel... the 6K scene is getting awful pixelated.
If i zoom from camera options (in timeline) the 6K texture is absolutly sharp. But ofcourse this is'nt workable.

My quastion,

How do u/I easily zoom without losing to much quality of the texture in the scene?

PS: i'm sorry for my bad english... not my native language.
Best regards

Danny

Correct answer OussK

Yes, that right because you zoom in the preview window and definitely you will get a pixelated preview because you go beyond the 100%, you should zoom in using the camera you cave in your scene using the camera tools, to access the camera tools hit "C" on your keyboard and keep hit "C" to jump between camera tools and once you get the zoom tools you can click and drag.

you can also select this tool manually from the tools menu

Note: you can't zoom in the camera using the mouse scroll
