Better optimization for reels/tik tok format videos

It's been a long time when vetical videos are made using after effects. All the trending Tik Tok video, Youtube shorts and Instagram reels are made in vertical format. Even after years after effects is not optimised for vetical videos. There's not even a option to change from horizontal to vertical screen resolution. I don't why is ignoring this major feature.  There's no workspace preset for vertical format video. I think it's time add these essential feature to the software.

There are a set of Composition Presets for Social Media, so you could certainly start with one of those for Vertical content. If you're idea is that AE auto-convert content from Landscape to Portrait, let us know so we can add another request to the backlog.

Yes, please. An/The Auto Reframe feature in AE will be very good for automated workflows within AE.For short-form work, being able to apply Auto-reframe will allow for much quicker and automated workflows.

After Effects is extremely well suited for working at whatever frame aspect ratio we choose;  however, leveraging that functionality is mostly manual if there's not a preset for it.

We can send 16x9 video to Premiere Pro to automatically reframe is fo social media, but something similar to Liquid Layouts in Adobe InDesign could be cool to have in After Effects for semi-automated or fully automated options for multiple aspect ratios while still being able to hand craft custom configurations.

You obviously do not understand what AUTOMATED means.  There is only one meaning to AUTOMATED. Going to PPro and then back IS NOT AUTOMATED.

You can make your own presets.  It really helps to learn the software before making requiests.
