adding magic bullet looks

i am trying to add magic bullet looks colourings on my macbook for after effects. i have red giant  downloaded and the mbl for that works fine. i tried to download other people's colourings and i have them in the correct folders. when i click view preset folder and i go into the folder and select a custom colouring, it doesn't allow me to add it. i think i've done everything right so i'm confused
