Can't import jpeg2000 .mov file After Effects. HELP!

I've tried to import to after effects some file that I download from a website and it's in jpeg2000 format but apears as .mov to. Anyaway it would a makor help if somenone could tell me how to fix this problem.

VLC and the conversion tools based on it can export many different formats and of course there's always ffmpeg. Doesn't really matter which one you choose as it's something supported by AE.

No dice. You need to use an external conversion tool and turn it into something AE-friendly. JPEG200 is one of those CoDecs that Apple just abandoned quite a while ago.
