Exported video randomly freezing

When I export a compisition (via media encoder to mp4) the exported video will randomly freeze on a particular frame for the rest of the suration of the video. This is problem with the export not the video player as this only happens to videos I export from After Effects.

Both my After Effects and Media Encoder are up to date.

If it freezes at random positions, but consisttently it stands to reason that this is related to issues with the cache or hardware accelerated encoding. Hence the first thing to do is to revert to software-only encoding and regularly flushing the caches. That and of course working out hardware acceleration by updating the driver and configuring it suitably. Anything beyond that will require much better info on your part. You have not offered any details about your system and your actual settings.

I reverted my settings to 'software-only encoding' and cleared the cache and that seems to have fixed the issue. Thank you!
