if I wasn't that good of a person, I would ask you to unchecked Mylenium's response as a correct answer and pick mine!

Simply looks like a curved wavy path that is moved around and dynamically clipped at the ends.

Thx lot!

I was thinking more about what kind of effects were applied (wave wrap?)

Or maby trim paths along curvy path + camera?

have you installed the ouroborus plugin? not wave warp but using shape operators to get the desired effect.

you can do this without the plugin too. add zigzag (round) and trim path set to end = 50% and link the offsets with parenting the layers to a null to stablize the movement

Any idea how I can get those offset paths to have an open end (not a closed cap) Thanks!
