Graphic integrations in an advanced Motion Graphics Template

Hi everyone,

I am currently developing a MoGrT for a TV station, so I want to give the editor the possibility to include text AND graphics in Premiere within the CI itself.

I know that MoGrT can only use very limited built-in AE-parameters, but I still wanted to ask if there is a possibility to integrate the function "Load graphics" into the interface of the MoGrT? The Graphics, for example a portrait of a news reporter, need to be in a mask and are animated (only position parameters), that's why I want to include the function in the template itself.

Normally I would do this with a little script, so I could imagine using a Action script to solve the problem.

Is it possible to include action scripts in MoGrT?

Thanks for your help

I'm sorry, but as someone who edits at a TV station, I for one do not need that amount of hand-holding.  What I need are alpha-channeled animated graphics made to my specifications.

I can add and position my own text in any of the four video editing applications available to me.

My client, the TV station wants these templates as a second option and, frankly, I'm looking for a more technical answer to this problem than to start a discussion about the meaning.

There are free MoGRTs available at Adobe Stock that show examples of changing backgrounds/images by using a slider. Take a look at those. In fact, I think there are bundled MoGRTs and these too have analogous examples.

You can include expressions to control opacity of pre-positioned layers or use time-remapping to "jump" to specific segments of a comp. Otherwise you cannot dynamically replace anything. All elements already have to exist in the comp in some form. Only their parameters can be changed where possible.
