How can I make After Effects not use my C Drive completely

Hey guys, so I've installed After Effects on my external hardrive and set all my Media and Disck cache folders to be stored on my Hard drive as well. However, while using AE I noticed that about 10GB of space on my C drive ( an SSD) is being taken up while AE is open. The data is cleared once I close the program but is there any way to make After Effects use my external hard drive only and not let it store any cache files on my C drive while the program is being used?

Short answer:  No.

Longer answer:  If 10 GB is an issue, you really need a larger internal drive.

C: is for OS. Not for AE to feed on.

Just give the option to switch ALL cache files to another drive.

Most of my Students have Laptops with external for data, their C: is not for DATA, it's rather small. Not everyone has thousands of dollars to buy high end laptops with SSD or M2 hard drives that have terrabytes.
On top of it, Windows doesn't like it when the C: is full... which it seems AE will fill up, no matter how much room it has.

Adobe products are memory horders and are close to malware. Please fix this.

Agree with @Peru Bob . If in the day and age of terabyte SSDs you need to worry about 10 GB, then it's time to upgrade your hardware.
