How to make an automated ranking.

In this video ( https://youtu.be/7vSK1szzDEw ) on the left side of the video there are Bars and timers that move into order based on largest duration to smallest. Is it possible to make this more "automated" using a script or plugin or do you just have to key frame every movent when the values change manually.

After Effects has no way to take data from a video and turn it into rankings. You have to provide the code to generate the numbers and drive the animation. This stuff is not easy, can involve a bunch of scripting to automate, but it can be driven through spreadsheet data through JSON files.

 

What is your experience level with After Effects and scripting? If you are relatively new to AE you might consider paying for some existing tools.

I'm not "new" to the program and have been working with it for a few years now but I am self taught so paying for existing tools may be the better option.
