How would you create comparison videos in After Effects?

Everything that you see moving is a different layer. You have to stack them up, animate position, opacity, rotation, and a bunch of other things. After Effects is not a put-something-on-a-layer and click-a-button app, it is an animation, visual effects, and compositing app designed to create shots and effects you cannot creat in an NLE like Premiere Pro. 

If you are new, spend a few minutes in the Window/Workspaces/Learn section and review the UI tutorials. Then spend some time with the User Guide.

Learn about Shape Layers and Shape Layer Animators. Learn how to create artwork for video in Illustrator and Photoshop. When you get stuck on a specific workflow, let us know where you are having problems. If you are having problems with a specific tutorial, please post a link to the tutorial so we can see what you are trying to do.

Be patient. Learning how to use After Effects efficiently takes a couple of hundred hours. If you don't take some time to learn the basics, you will waste a lot of time. 

Nothing special, realyl. Each panel is just a prepared sub-comp that is then duplicated as often as needed and the content changed, then it's adapted each time with the info and the different pre-comps arranged together in a parent comp and animated. This is really basic stuff involving only basic AE stuff, so I can't see why anyone would make a tutorial about it. You could likely of course find any number of tutorials on the basic techniques under different contexts.
