Lenticular printing simulation

New Here ,

Hi everyone!

I am working on a project that involves lenticular printing, but before presenting to the client, I would like to make a video file simulating the following effect:

4K lenticular simulation - YouTube or

Lenticular 75 lpi 0.6 mm (motion) - YouTube

I have all the photo files I need, but I was wondering if it's possible to simulate the end result in AE. If so, how?

thanks in advance

In the cases shown the term "lenticular printing" is nothing more than a fancy way to say, "time lapse" or "stop motion animation".

Both begin with the photography.  After Effects is merely the tool used to assemble the pictures.

So you should start with the photography.

I am sure you can find plenty of information on time lapse photography and stop motion photography.

Have to agree with Dave. There's really not much to see there except for a low framerate animation fancied up with a stripey effect, the latter of which can easiyl be created using the Venetian Blinds effect or any scanline effect from a third-party plug-in suite.
