need help to create a smoke effect

When i try to import a smoke stock fotage and then make the size smaller i stumple on a problem. i can see were the fotage ends and starts. how do i get rid of it. i give  2 images to show what i mean since im speaking swedish only and dont know much english

That is the delimitation of the original footage and you will not be able to do anything unless you have the project with which it was created. But, to soften that cut you could use masks and adjust a Feather in the mask controls in Layer.
