Hello,

I have searched how to change the number of Undos in After Effects, and I found that this is now automatic, which is so not cool, but, I don't own adobe.

As you see in the screen shot, I am running CC 2018, V 15.1.0, Build 166.

HELP.

If I can't change the undo's why do I not have 99 undos?

Thank you,

As of Oct 2017 release, the option to set the levels of undo was removed from the preferences dialog. You can edit it in the preferences text file. But it is always set to 99 unless you change it. So your levels of undo should not be as low as you describe.

Mine seemed fine, but I only tested up to 20...

Please explain what "automatic" means.  AE undoes stuff automatically now?  You automatically get as many undos as you need?

Well, maybe you've uncovered another bug in AE 55.1.0.

The fix: get rid of this April's update and revert to the previous update.  Adobe really screwed the pooch on this latest update.

    Hi Dave,

    Thanks for your note.

If Undos are automatic, where do you look for this? Unfortunately, in my version, I do not see this! For me, it does not exist, which is a def bug, or a blown call on the part of Adobe.

In the meantime, I dont even have 15 Undos and that is a def prob!!

    Thank you, again.

That should be 15.1.0, not 55.1.0.  Sorry.

But still, get rid of the piece o'crap April update!
