Rotating a keyframe position track??

I have an object that I want to follow a spiral track via x and y position keyframes. I then want to duplicate, then rotate the track -45 degrees 7 more times.

im not finding any way to be able to manipulate the track that is created by the keyframes for an objects position. I tried drawing a mask then copying the mask track to the position, but it just will not allow that track to be rotated when copied. Is there any way around this or a better way of approaching this? Thank you.

Correct answer Rick Gerard

I would do this with parenting. Add a null, make that a parent, then rotate each layer 45º then add the next child. I hope you followed that. If you are confused type parent in the search help field at the top right corner of AE an check out the help files.
