Saving/loading presets in AE without administrator account

Hi 🙂

Does enyone know if I can load presets and effects from different folder than the default one?

I can not save them in default folder without administrator password. I think you should be able to load presets (or effects) from a diffrent location but I can not find that option.

    You can put an animation preset anywhere, it just won't show up in a search. If an administrator can create an alias that points to a public folder in the default folder then all of your custom presets will show up in the Effects and Presets panel. 

     

    Presets that you create will not have a preview if you look for them using Adobe Bridge.

    Hi there, Zaleks! You can put presets in the Documents/Adobe/Adobe After Effects [version number]/User Presets folder and they'll show up in the Effects & Presets panel. The path is the same on Mac or Windows.
