UHD h265/HEVC mp4 is showing up green

Hi guys,
I have a mobile clip in UHD/h265 wich is showing up as glitchy/green, once I import it to AE or PR.
If I bring it to VLC however, it plays it back correctly.
I already tried to deinstall the HEVC codec manually to get the dialog window back, asking if I wanne install the codec, once I drag the clip inside. And basically reinstalled the codec.

Appreciate every hint!

I have the same issue with adobe rush on iOS app. I import h265 dlog footage. It plays fine on iPhone XS max but when trying to edit on adobe rush it shows a green screen.

Does Adobe rush app support only h264?

Any help would be appreciate it.

Hardly ANY application supports H.265. Don't use it!

Transcode the clip to another codec & media container, and put up with the vastly-increased file size.
