why isn't mbl working?

hi! so after effects is working fine for me so far. i recently downloaded a plugin called "magic bullet looks" and everytime i drag it to my project, i click "edit.." and it crashes my whole after effects. ive tried to reinstall mbl but it just isnt working. any ideas?

MBL uses its own OpenGL code, so those options do nothing. Start by updating your graphics driver. The rest we can't know because you haven't offered any system information or such.

have you found a fix? im having this same issue and it was working fine before.

You may want to try going to File/Project Settings and change the "Use" drop down on Video rendering and Effects to a different option and see if it behaves better.

I've had difficulty with the accelerators lately and this may help.

hi! i followed everything you suggested, but it didnt seem to solve it. i changed it from "Mercury GPU Acceleration (CUDA)" to "Mercury Software Only" and it didn't do anything when i added magic bullet looks- it still crashed after effects.

I appriciate the help though thanks!
