Adobe Animate can't save my documents

Everything was fine up until recently where I can't save any changes without it saying "please save under a different filename or location". Also if I make a new file, it creates an Autorecover duplicate. I've never had these issues until now. I don't know how to fix it.

I think all files. It's happened numerous times.

if you start a new file can you save it (test1.fla) in a desktop (fla_dir) directory?
