I just updated both Animate CC and Media Encoder CC to the latest releases, and now I'm having trouble with the Export to Video function locking up. I tried checking and unchecking the option to have Media Encoder process the file, but either way, the progress cursor just spins and the program becomes unresponsive. I haven't seen a dialog box for the swf conversion portion of the process, but apparently the .swf files are being saved to the export location. So I'm assuming that the crash is happening at some point between the swf file save and the .mov conversion. Media Encoder isn't opening automatically, either. I opened it manually to see if that would correct the problem, but Animate still goes unresponsive.
The file shouldn't be an issue at all. I've exported the same size videos, each having only slight changes, for months now with no issues.
AAAGHHH!! I figured it out. It wasn't actually the animation at all, which is a little comforting. I was pretty sure that Animate wasn't THAT finicky with its vectors and bitmaps and such.
It turned out to be the audio file. I'm not sure if the audio file was corrupted somehow, but I didn't even have to reimport it. I deleted the layer, reassigned the audio file from the Library to a new layer, made my envelope corrections, and it all exported fine.

Hi there,
I am not sure if you already had a look at below threads which deals with the same issue.
But still would like you to go through them once and hopefully you will find a solution.
Let us know if nothing worked out for further investigation.
Thanks!

I have tested previous animations that were more complex, and they are exporting correctly. I have broken apart every vector graphic in my animation, and it is still causing Animate to lock up on export. The only thing I haven't done is deleted elements layer-by-layer in my animation to get to the root of the issue. But apparently it has something to do with this file.
Having said that, I think it's frustrating that those of us who have had this issue are utilizing all the techniques Animate says we're supposed to use - copying and pasting vectors and bitmaps - and lo and behold, it can't handle it. I'm not talking about animating every blade of grass in a meadow. In my case, it's a simple seven-second walk animation. It would seem that Animate could handle that, or Adobe could tell us what they recommend we DON'T do when creating animations such as these.

I can really understand your frustration and same would have been felt here as well in such cases.
However, Let me have a look at your file first by which I can help you in detecting the error.
You can share your file with me via any file sharing link such as Dropbox or WeTransfer in a private message.

Whoa, great it worked out thanks for sharing the wonderful solution to to this issue Clay.
Among all the possible solutions I will add this as well and make an FAQ.
Cheers,
Ankush
