Adobe Animate downloading on wrong drive

I'm trying to download Adobe Animate on my D drive because sadly I don't have room on my C drive and when It's downloading It says my D drive Is full when It Isn't, I need help to fix It and I only have a couple days

Did you go to the creative cloud manager to preferences and choose your D drive?

I can't download CC It's 20gb and you can't change the location either

you have the cc desktop app and you're using it to install animate, correct?

you changed the install location in the cc app's settings, correct?

you're trying to install into a folder (NOT the root) of the d drive, correct?

if you're not sure of the above, say so because that's almost certainly the problem (and the solution).

I can't get the CC desktop app, I looked It up and It's 20gb and from what I've seen from a majority of the Adobe apps you can't change the download location..
