I've been trying to import audio of my project. However when I try to import it the program gives me a message saying it couldn't import the file or that it couldn't read it. I've tried importing the audio as an mp3, .wav, and an .aif. None of these file formats have seemed to work so far. The document that I'm using an HTML5 Canvas Document. Please let me know what I can do to get my audio in the document.

open your wav in audition and save with either 8- or 16-bit and at sample rates of 11, 22, or 44 kHz.

I just now tried to import the audio with your suggested sample rates and bit sizes, however the program continues to tell me that it can't read the file.

I'm using a mac and I also have the 23.0.1 version of animate. I'm starting to think that there's a technical issue with my program because there are several glitches that happen on my computer even when there are no applications open.

uninstall animate including preferences per https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html
restart your computer
reinstall animate
retry importing that wav file.

Unfortunately, it's still telling me that the program can't read the file.
