Adobe Flash CC Wacom pen issues.

Hi,

I have a Lenovo Thinkpad Yoga Ultrabook that has tablet functionality via Wacom. I have had no issue drawing within the Photoshop that I have had for months now, but when I just installed Flash CC, the tablet will not let me use the tablet pen to draw a line correctly. What it does is makes a long straight diagonal line every time I try to touch it to the screen, and then at the end of said line, it then will draw what I gesture with my hand. The problem is, its offset now to the end of the line, so it is completely unusable. It has no problem working if I were to use my finger on the touch screen instead of the pen, which is very strange.

Some things to note:

-Again, it works fine with the pen in other drawing apps like photoshop

-The issue persists with the default pen and a different brand pen that I frequently use.

-I have all my graphics drives updated

-I have the latest Wacom Feel it drivers

-I turned off all tablet settings that might interfere. Which shouldn't matter anyway if the pen works in other Adobe apps.

-I cant find a single thing online that comes anywhere close to what I need about this issue. I have no where else to turn! It seems like a Flash not being able to handle the tablet function settings.

-I am not a newbie to the Wacom functionality, so I have tried all of the obvious fixes.

Does anyone know of any fixes for this problem? I have the 30 day free trial of Flash, and I am not going to buy this if I cant get it resolved in the next month!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Seriously the support for this problem is amateur. I'm talking to you "Staff". It is obviously a big issue with thousands of users experiencing the same problem.

I shouldn't have to restart Wacom through services every time I open Flash.

Get it together Adobe.

I'm paying for this.

@jasir_

"Get it together Adobe.

I'm paying for this."

I tried to opt out of my second year renewal for the cloud service and was locked into a second year after receiving very specific promises from Adobe.  Now that I am forced to pay another year for the creative cloud I am making sure to use the products on daily basis.  Now I find a problem that persisted last year has occurred again in the 2015 edition of flash rendering it nearly inoperable on my desktop setup.  I'm not paying to be inconvenienced I'm paying for a product I should be able to use on any of the platforms I own seamlessly.

If a problem from July 2014 is the most accurate result for an issue I'm facing in 2016 then there are issues to address.

I FOUND THE PROBLEM..... kinda

Hi i also have been dealing with this problem like you have.

Some of you may have noticed (if you have a second monitor) every time you move things from one display to the Cintiq, the Cintiq artificially grows it.

Try it! take a chrome document drag it from one display to the cintiq, you may notice that at first it will appear small but after it half of the pagehas moved to the Cintiq. It will expand.

After seeing this I tried to have only less than half of flash window on my cintiq and to my supprise this problem stopped.

This bring another problem, I can't figure out how to turn this off and googling it has failed me.

For information I'm running an AMD radeon card on Windows 10.

AND NOW I HAVE THE SOLUTION!!!

find the EXE file and go to the properties menu. Find [Disable display scaling on high DPI settings] click it

and that is how you fix this problem

Hi, I am having this issue as well.  I've tried all of the solutions above including the workaround solution.  I don't have  Wacom professional properties in that location.  I am on a Lenovo laptop running windows 10, Duel monitor, using a Cintiq 24HD touch.  My pen strokes are displaying as the other have mentioned above: down and off to the right.  Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Hello.

Yet another user with this problem.

I'm running:

-Windows 8.1

-Cintiq 13HD on Driver 6.3.15-1

-Dual monitors, both at 1920X1080

How has this bug been going strong for over a year?

Hi,

Which version of wacom drivers are you using? We have seen this issue with the latest wacom drivers.

Im using the latest wacom cintiq companion driver. I see that it might be

the problem because every time i restart my computer after downloading the

driver, the pen doesnt work. But if i dont restart my laptop after i

download the driver, it works fine.

Getting the same thing happening with my new Wacom tablet. Using the drivers that came with the device.

OS: Windows 10 Pro

Intuos 5 (regular not pro) -  driver version 6.3.14-1

Adobe Flash CC 2015 (latest update)

UPDATE:

I've removed and re-installed my Wacom drivers and the problem seems to have gone away.

Same issue, I can't get my work done.  I tried installing a previous driver, but for some reason it didn't install right?

I downloaded the old driver, installed it (apparently) and restarted my computer.  Still not working. :-/

I have the same problem, still haven't figured how to fix it

I just ran into the exact same issue. A straight diagonal line appears on touch and then the drawing occurs at the end of the line. As it turns out it was fixable by going into the display settings (this is windows 10) and then checking the line that says "Change the size of text, apps and other items" For me that was set to 125%. When I set it to 100%, the line issue disappeared. I think these settings often change automatically if you switch between different resolution secondary displays. Check it out and see if it works for you.

Yeah the problem is, when I set my resolution to what works with flash, it completely destroys everything else. Its a huge hassle to constantly go into the windows settings ans switch back and forth just because Adobe cant get their act together!

Same issue and I am in the middle of a project, what do I do?

Thank you in advance.
