Animate - Can't make basic stickman leg movement with the brush tool

So, I'm a beginner and have a noobish question:

Can I somehow move the end of the first pictures leg easily like if I did it with the line tool? I just want to make basic leg movement for the stick man. Do I have to use the bone tool or what?

The brush tool creates a vector outline in the shape of the brush. So no, you can't drag it around like a primitive line object.

But come on, it's a freaking stick man-- just redraw the line.
