Hello,
I would like to know if you know a way to make a timelapse of a draing made in Animate.
The goal is to make a sketchnote video. And to be able to edit it in Animate (with vectors), so no screen recording.
I used to try an software called DrawSWF, which allows to draw, and the export as a swf file the timelapse of the drawing. It still works on my old mac, but it's not perfect.
Do you know another tool or an other way to do that ?
Thanks

that sounds perfect for frame-by-frame animation.

import the end image/graphic to your timeline  > right click the layer > click properties > set opacity to 50% > lock its layer.

create a layer above that image/graphic.  using the animate drawing tools, in frame 1 draw a little of the underlying graphic. create a keyframe in frame 5 and add a little more to your drawing.  create a keyframe in frame 10 and add a little more, etc.

when you're done, delete the underlying layer that you used to guide your drawing.

by adjusting the frame rate you can display your timelapse at a variety of speeds.  and you may want more or less space between your keyframes.

save your work frequently with increasing version number appended to the file name.  periodically close and then reopen the last version to confirm it's not corrupted.
