Auto-save did not work in Animate

I've been working on a project for 3 hours and the project closed itself. I didnt even leave the app and when I re-opened the project, all the progress I had made was gone. I checked for recovery files and once oppened, it was still the old, unworked version of my project. Is there any way for me to find my project, that should've been auto-saved, since I did have the feature enabled? Is there a version of it somewhere? Because I'm lost dont know what to do...
