Bone tool help - armature not visible

I'm using Animate CC (all up to date). When I try to use the bone tool the armature structure isn't visible. I click and drag like the tutorials ask, it does seem to animate the objects, but I cant see the lines that join everything together. So I'm unable to refine the frame.

Is there way to change the view or am I missing something?

Possible fix here. Close the file (I didn't close the program), reopened it and..voila, the bones showed up.

Yet again, Adobe seems to be doing everything possible to sabotage this product.

I am trying to use Adobe Animate in the classroom, and it is incredibly frustrating to the students when the program does not behave like it is supposed to. Is there anyone at Adobe who can serve as a champion for this product and make sure that such problems are solved?

I use Adobe Animate in my mobile gaming class at this time every year. When the new semester arrives, I cross my fingers in the hopes that Adobe will have finally managed to get its act together. I feel like Charlie Brown chasing after the football in the Peanuts comic strip.
