Buttons not clickable on the html preview

Hi,

I have a small animation with 35 frames. There are a couple of navigation menus on it to be able to change through the different slides. There is one of the menus which is some sort of you click on a botton and a dropdown menu appears that I am not able to make the buttons be clickable. It seems that the layer is somewhere hidden and is not presented when doing the html preview on the browser.

If already tried moving the layer to the front and the others to the back and even creating the layer again but still, if I assign an action to the button and I when I want to test it is like if the button was not there.

Can someone point me on the right direction?

Your dropdown buttons aren't working because they have no Hit frame. And you need a Hit frame because you set your first button frame content to 0% alpha, which makes it not exist. So there's literally nothing to click on.

Hi.

I think it would be easier if you share your file for the guys here to take a look.

is the parent (whatever triggers the drop) intercepting the mouseevent on a child (the dropdown)?

No, it is not. There´s a hover animation that should actually happen and it is not detecting the mouse.

Thanks, it looks like is doing something now. It is strange because the other buttons dont have a frame on the Hit. I guess here will be trickier since the menu shows/hides.

Is there somewhere a good explanation about how does up,over, hit, zone things work?

Again, thanks a lot for your patience.
