I can`t hear audio in Animate cc! I tried all! I chose all the possible options in the audio settings, I went trhough all the choices in the audio frame settings, I tried all the audio file formats, I tried all the projects formats, I tried everyrhing AND NOTHING CHANGED! when I make SWF file the audio doesn`t play, when I choose just to play audio it doesn`t play, when I choose "stream" in audio settings and try to play it trough frames IT DOES NOT PLAY! Does anyone have any idea how to fix this? (sorry for caps I am just sick and tired of this all)
I'm starting to think you are on Windows and there's some small setting with your system's audio driver or maybe an aftermarket audio card. Have you tried playing around with your system settings?

I've tried ver 22.0.8, 22.0.4, and 22.0.2 and I just tried all the sample rates (11, 22, 44, both 16 and 8- bit), but nothing's worked.
It's so weird, no matter what I've done NO audio will play, even when I export a swf, but all the audio plays just fine everywhere else.

Oh my gosh, I just fixed it. I don't know how the program audio got turned off on my PC, but I wasn't able to switch it back on until I had the program open then hit win+g to bring up the game bar menu, but then it clearly showed me the program audio was turned off somehow and when I turned it back on it worked. HALLELUJAH omg, I was really tripping out because I could not find that audio setting anywhere on my PC either until I again, had the program open and the stupid game bar thing allowed me to fix it. omg.
Anywho, thank you so much for your help! I really appreciate not feeling alone, I was having a moment. You have a great night!!!

for me it wasn't an adobe animate problem, it was an issue with my pc's sound controls.
You said you tested the sound, but it doesn't seem like you tested it in the way I described in my post.
If you're on a PC (hopefully you are, I don't know how to do this on a mac):
-press the "Windows button" + "G", this will bring up the game capture overlay menu
-one of the menus is for audio and that's where I found that my Animate audio was muted somehow, this is what the menu looks like when you pull up the overlay:
Before I knew that the computer audio could mute in this way, I was going crazy thinking it was an Animate bug.
Hope this helps!
